Achtergrond: The software department of the Technical Unit Processing is responsible for the software development in radar- and optical sensors for worldwide navies- and air defense systems. The used real-time processing systems are implemented with state-of-the-art hardware and software.
Cyber security is becoming more and more an issue in sensor development.
Title Opdracht : Investigate the possibilities to secure Linux
De Opdracht: At the moment WindRiver Linux is used. So far, security is been of little interest in this environment. Check what should be changed and what the consequences are.
- Make a list of items that are most important to change and check what the consequences are for the current solution (both technical and resources (hours/budget))
- Check what is provided in SELinux
- Implement at least 3 items of the list for the current platform
